WE VALUE THE SUPREME AUTHORITY OF THE BIBLE.

We believe the Bible to be the inspired word of Yahuwah (YHWH) and the final authority in all affairs
of life. A life lived by the word of YHWH is a life fulfilled. The word of Yah ushers in a lasting peace,
hope remains evergreen and we are reminded that the joy of YHWH is our strength. This we may only
discover from reading His word.

WE VALUE THE HEBRAIC ROOTS OF SCRIPTURE.

We believe the Bible is most accurately and truly understood when viewed through the mindset of our Jewish savior.
A Hebraic perspective thus becomes tantamount imperative to understanding the words
of Yeshua. After all, the writers of the Holy Scriptures were Hebrews. Paul beseeches us to “let this mind be in you that was also in messiah Yeshua” Phil 2:5. Was he not also a Jew?

WE VALUE ENTERING THE PRESENCE OF YAHUWAH THROUGH WORSHIP.

The ultimate act of worship is a life spent delighting oneself in the word but YHWH is a spirit and so
are we, just in earthen bodies. YHWH has given a multitude of gifts to mankind and we seek to express our adoration to YHWH in a multitude of ways be it through music, poetry, song, dance, prophecies,
art to name but a few. However the expression of Worship should always be a free-spirited
and joyful experience that draws the fellowship into worship and oneness with YHWH.

WE VALUE THE IN-DEPTH STUDYING OF THE TORAH.

We are committed to the study of the Torah, Haf-torah and the Brit Chadashah every Shabbat.
Doing so we find that then and only then do we understand the ways and mind of YHWH. We invite and host seasoned and acclaimed teachers, proven academics of scripture among the Hebrew roots movement, teachers knowledgeable of Hebrew antiquity customs and traditions to teach at A’havah as part of our investment to growth and development. We believe that everyone has the
responsibility to gird up their soul with the word of truth onto a perfect man rightly dividing the word
of truth for it is how we are sanctified.

WE VALUE THE ‘MOADIM’ APPOINTED TIMES/FEASTS OF YAHUWAH.

We believe that YHWH has given biblical feasts with the purpose of illustrating the plan of salvation
to the world for all time. They are fantastic evangelical tools for teaching and reaching out to new
believers with the love message of our father of how he sent his son to atone for the sin of the world
redeeming sinners. These are holy feasts and joyful times of celebration. We believe that through
obedience YHWH blesses us for honoring Him on these especially holy days.

WE VALUE THE LAND OF ISRAEL AND THE TWELVE TRIBES.

Isaiah chapter 2 is a fantastic chapter teaching us “for out of Zion shall go forth the Torah, and the
word of YHWH from Jerusalem”. We are lovers of Israel and pray for the peace of Jerusalem daily, We support those who wish to do
aliyah and return to the holy land. For many in the congregation annually returning to Israel for the feasts as a spiritual pilgrimage. We look forward to the day when we may do the great aliyah and keep the feasts with the King of kings
in the holy city on that great day.

WE VALUE YAHUWAH’S SHABBAT THE SEVENTH DAY.

Through the seventh day of rest we have a set time commanded by YHWH for intimacy with our heavenly father. It is a day that memorializes creation, as the first Shabbat keeper YHWH himself rested from all His work, and we enter into His rest prepared as a precious timeless gift for all who love Him.

WE VALUE ALL PEOPLE, BELIEVERS OR NOT.

We believe that the body of Messiah has a responsibility to place much emphasis on reaching people
outside of relationship with Yeshua. We must create a safe and inclusive environment where people
can belong before they believe. We encourage each person in the congregation to build meaningful
relationships with non-believers in this short amount of time we have left on earth to share the
basar (Good News).

WE BELIEVE IN FAMILY VALUES AND COMMUNITY.

We believe the gathering together of believers is a family to which people belong and not a place
to which people go. It is founded on love, acceptance and forgiveness and an appreciation of the
immense value of every person. We enjoy informality and encourage openness and authenticity in relationships. We believe ‘care groups’ are a vital part of any fellowship, and everyone to be a key player in the
building of the fellowship and the kingdom.

WE VALUE THE LEADER IN EVERYONE.

We believe YHWH has given some emissaries, some as Prophets, some as proclaimers of the
Basar (Good News) and some as Shepherds, for the government of the assembly of YHWH.We believe that their ministry is to serve the people by edifying them until we all arrive at unity
of our faith and maturity in YHWH. The fields are vast and the work is great. Laborers are needed
to bring in a bounty for the Kingdom. At Ahavah our mandate is a kingdom mandate which is all Yeshua taught that we are to prepare for the kingdom of heaven.

WE VALUE INTIMACY THROUGH PRAYER.

“My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations/peoples” Yeshua spent much of His time
talking to His father in prayer. We believe if we turn our face toward the Father in these last days souls
will be saved, the deaf will hear, the blind will see and deliverance will come to the captive. The tide can change in the midnight hour and the blood of the lamb can be a sign preventing the devourer from
stealing, killing and destroying.

WE VALUE THE YOUTH AS THE LEADERS OF TOMORROW.

We do not see the children just as the congregation of tomorrow but as a vital part of the congregation
of today. We want to demonstrate to children and young people good role models, values and the
effectiveness of the Torah in their lives no matter the age of the individual.
